Bloom Together’s first international edition brings the floral supply chain together in Ecuador, celebrating the power of networking, collaboration, and community.
MIAMI, FL – October 26, 2026 – The Bloom Together Event – Ecuador celebrated a successful first international edition on October 6 in Quito, Ecuador, welcoming 215 floral professionals from across the global flower supply chain, following a public welcome from Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa.
On October 5, just one day before the event, President Noboa welcomed Bloom Together Event to Ecuador through his official LinkedIn account, expressing that he was “especially pleased to welcome Bloom Together to Ecuador for the first time this October.”
His message also referenced Ecuador y Sus Flores and Expo Flor Ecuador while celebrating the country’s natural beauty, biodiversity, and international connections.
The recognition marked an important milestone for the Bloom Together Event, founded in Miami in 2021 by Sahid Nahim and now powered by New Bloom Media.
A Night of Connections Across the Floral Industry
Held at La Sala del Despecho, a popular Quito venue known for its vibrant atmosphere, the Bloom Together Event – Ecuador attracted more than 385 registrations, with 215 floral professionals attending throughout the evening.
The evening began with approximately three hours of networking, bringing together growers, breeders, exporters, wholesalers, distributors, buyers, suppliers, service providers, and industry organizations from across the international floral market.
One of the evening’s most memorable moments came when Dümmen Orange surprised guests with Panama hats, followed by venue staff waving Ecuadorian flags in celebration.
Seeing professionals from competing companies proudly wear the hats, sing, and celebrate together captured the spirit of the event.
“Seeing competitors celebrating together reminded me exactly why we created Bloom Together Event. Stronger relationships create a stronger floral industry,” said Sahid Nahim, founder of the Bloom Together Event.
Industry Leaders Reflect on the Power of Community
The event’s success was made possible by the collective support of floral businesses and organizations committed to creating meaningful connections across the industry.
“Bloom Together was a powerful reminder that floriculture is built on both business and relationships. As a Gold Sponsor, we celebrated Ecuador’s growing impact on the global flower industry, connected with customers and friends, and shared an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, laughter, and Dümmen Orange spirit and portfolio.” — Alejandra Fernández Valencia, Marketing Leader LATAM, Dümmen Orange
“Bloom Together reflects what we value at Esmeralda Farms: meaningful relationships and a shared passion for flowers. Bringing our floral community together strengthens connections, sparks new ideas, and helps us continue to blossom together as an industry.” — Amy Hernandez, VP of Sales, Esmeralda Farms
“It’s not all just work, work, and more work. We really enjoyed ourselves in this very special space. Everyone was eager to sing and laugh. A great event. Congratulations to the organizers.” — Marcelo Javier Vallejo Loaiza, General Manager, De Ruiter
“Bloom Together reminds us all why we, as a community of friends, come together: to share, enjoy, and celebrate flowers. Our greatest strength as an industry lies in the connections we make and the bonds we have built and nurtured over the years! See you at the next Bloom Together event! 🌸” — Pamela Duperly, Sales Manager, The Elite Flower
Stronger Together, Giving Back Together
The evening also featured remarks from Joe Don Zetzsche of That Flower Feeling, who thanked the event’s contributors and emphasized that initiatives like That Flower Feeling and Bloom Together Event show the floral industry is stronger when it works together.
Giving back remains central to Bloom Together Event’s mission. Having contributed more than $25,000 to floral and horticultural causes over the years, the initiative will direct the remaining proceeds from its Quito edition, after direct expenses, to two organizations:
Seed Your Future, which promotes horticulture and inspires future generations to explore careers working with plants, and That Flower Feeling, which encourages greater everyday flower consumption through consumer awareness and marketing initiatives.
Looking ahead, the Bloom Together Event Initiative community also hopes to explore collaboration with other nonprofit organizations that support the floral Industry and is welcoming organizations to reach out.
An International Community With Room to Grow
Although previous Bloom Together Events in Miami have welcomed as many as 400 attendees, the first Ecuador edition intentionally embraced a smaller format to encourage more personal connections.
The enthusiastic response, with more than 385 registrations and 215 attendees, has inspired the community to explore a larger venue for future editions in Ecuador, allowing more floral professionals to participate.
Special appreciation goes to Ecuador y Sus Flores and The Dark Side of the Bloom for their strategic collaboration and valuable support with local logistics and media partnership.
